Description For patients with small cell lung cancer, treatment with thalidomide does not improve survival or quality of life, according to a phase III clinical trial published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute on August 5. The anti-angiogenic agent does, however, increase the risk for peripheral neuropathy and thrombotic events. Reuters Health Information
