NSAID Plus Acetaminophen Increases Gastrointestinal Event Risk

The results of a study published in the April issue of the American Journal of Gastroenterology suggest that the combination of traditional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and acetaminophen increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding compared with the use of either agent alone.
