Beta-Agonists for Asthma up Cardiac Event Risk in Patients With Long-QT Syndrome

Patients with the long-QT syndrome and asthma who are treated with inhaled beta-2 agonists have an increased risk for cardiac events, according to results of a study published in the October 1st issue of the American Journal of Cardiology.
