Description Patients with metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who receive multipolar radiofrequency ablation, delivered to multiple sites simultaneously, have very high tumor eradication rates. They also have survival rates similar to patients who undergo surgery after a mean of nearly 2 years of follow-up, investigators announced in Washington, DC, at the annual meeting of the American Roentgen Ray Society meeting.
