The results of a study published in the February issue of Health Services Research suggest that implementation of a "translating research into practice" (TRIP) behavioral intervention, designed to increase the use of evidence-based acute pain management practices for hospitalized older patients with hip fractures, helps lower overall cost in hospitals treating these patients.
