Director of Plant Operations/EOC

Rock Springs, is a 72 bed Behavioral Health Hospital located just north of Austin in Georgetown, TX. Rock Springs is currently seeking an Environment of Care Director/Plant Operations Director.

EOC Director is responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all TJC, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, documents these and reports on them. The Director will function as Safety and Security Officer and Emergency Planning liaison for the facility. The Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests. Direct staff reports may include EVS, and Plant Operations.

Director may perform or oversee various tasks, such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment maintenance, grounds work, and janitorial duties and dietary functions with minimal supervision. Conducts and supervises maintenance and repair projects. Obtains quotes and oversees special projects as assigned. Leads dietary function to meet all state and federal guidelines, ensures quality of food, service and clean, safe environment.

Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements preferred. Valid drivers license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using your own auto.
